Personality traits:  Cheerful, Modest, tolerant, friendly and easily impressed. If Nereid was Neptune's Son he would be the complete opposite of his father. He is kind-hearted in spirit and respective to even the rudest kinds of beings. Some times he can be just a little too cheerful in nature and will over whelm you with his happiness that...it can be rather irritating after a while.
Body structure: Nereid has the features of a young boy.
Base Powers:  Not much is known about Nereid's abilities. He acts to witty to even try...Neptune is usually irritated by his leak of willpower.
Closes Companions: Neptune of all is her closes companion. He looks to Thalassa like his little sister and Larissa as his...well baby sitter. And Triton as his Uncle/father figure. He also adores playing around with Pluto and her cast of sisters.
Rivals: Nereid has no known rivals.
Background:
He is Nereid! Sometimes referred as "Little Neptune" by many. Not much is spoken rather Nereid is Neptune's real son are not, for he has never denied it.....but than again he has never been asked if the facts are true xD Just know that Neptune himself often calls Nereid his little kid, but not saying such in public.
Nereid wasn't always an official moon of Neptune, but he was never captured either like the known Triton was. Nereid was anonymously dropped off at Neptune's door step in a basket when he was just an infant.....Of course a note was attached along with the boy, stating that it was a possibility that he was Neptune's son. Not even Neptune to this day doesn't know who in the hell sent him this random child, but afterwards he really didn't care any more. In the beginning it was Triton who was doing all the "taking care of the kid" gig....Neither one of them knew what they were doing, but Triton took up most of the responsibilities than Neptune would. Neptune on the other hand just freaked out and goes out drinking just to avoid being involved...Than of course Larissa took over.
